Orion NPM 9.1 SP2 scheduled reports bug

After applying SP2 to Orion NPM9.1, the custom scheduled reports stopped working, creating Event ID: 1309 from Event Source:  ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 entries in the event log.

This issue of retrieving printable reports using the Report Scheduler, is a known bug with SP2 (Bug report number 9100) which has been fixed in SP3.

A temporary workaround without applying SP3 or the latest SP5 is to carry out the following:

  1. Edit one of the jobs in the Orion Report Scheduler
  2. Under Web Pages tab highlight the webpage
  3. Select View/Edit button
  4. Under Orion Web Login, ”Untick the checkbox for Retrieve a Printable Version of this page.”
