The simplest health boosters.

If you were to stop a Men’s Health editor in the hallway and ask him what supplements or pills he took this morning, he’d respond: “Who are you? And what are you doing in our hallway?”

But after introductions, he’d be happy to tell you. Some of the guys (the muscular ones) use creatine and various protein powders.

But the most common answers you’d hear would be:

  1. A multi-vitamin.
  2. An aspirin.
  3. Fish oil.

Two pills and a packet of goop: 30 seconds.

The multi-vitamin is just smart. The aspirin is for guys who know it could save their heart. The fish oil, omega-3 fatty acids, is for your heart and everything else. (And we wash it all down with green tea.)

Omega-3’s are one of the most thoroughly studied supplements. It’s pretty clear it cuts your risk of heart disease, prostate cancer, stroke, asthma and arthritis.Just today there was more news about fish oil.
