Word: Supercilious.

Supercilious” (soo-pur-SIL-ee-us) – from the Latin for “arrogance” – is another way of saying haughtily disdainful: having or showing arrogant superiority to and disdain of those one views as unworthy.

Example “curled his lip in a supercilious smile.”
