Word: Reciprocal.

Reciprocal – multiplicative inverse: (mathematics) one of a pair of numbers whose product is 1:

“the reciprocal of 2/3 is 3/2; the multiplicative inverse of 7 is 1/7”

“Benchmarks show that floating-point division – both on Single and Double values is about three times slower slower than multiplication. This means for .example multiplying by 0.5 is faster than dividing by 2 and in general you can achieve faster code by replacing a division by N with a multiplication by the reciprocal of N.”
