Anyone who has tried to install Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 from the Microsoft website, may have noticed that Microsoft do NOT give you the ability to download the entire IE6 SP1. Instead they give you a 500KB exe file that you download and then run from your machine, which downloads the remaining approximately 11MB during the course of the installation. You may however find yourself in a situation where you have more than one PC connected via dialup and do not want to spend an hour installing on each machine. For this scenario, then the best would be to download the “full set of files,” then save to CD enabling you to update all your PC’s quickly.
