Mounting ISO files in Windows 7

"Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel for Windows XP" – the freeware utility from Microsoft to mount ISO Images – doesn’t work in Windows 7 or Vista. Thankfully Pismo Technic Inc. have created Pismo File Mount free download -  Windows system extension that enables application controlled virtual and user mode file systems. Using Pismo File Mount, applications can expose all kinds of program and user data through the Windows file system interface.

Virtual Clone Drive is another free utility which supports all common image formats such as ISO, BIN, CCD and up to 8 virtual drives at the same time as well as being easy to use by just double-clicking an image file to mount as a drive. At first it may new work, but a reboot will sort this out.
